The 18V brushless reciprocating saw (DJR189) has a lightweight and compact design to enhance workability in tight places. The DJR189 features a loop shaped handle to enhance housing rigidity, improve cutting efficiency, and minimise the chance of injury. The handle can be gripped one-handed and is positioned to allow firm transmission of force to the workpiece where it may be difficult to exert force on the blade such as in tight places.
The DJR189 is also fitted with a unique counterweight mechanism to reduce tool vibration meaning users experience lower fatigue. The DJR189 also comes standard with several other features, including electric brake for safety, LED job light to enhance visibility, eXtremeProtection Technology (XPT) for increased dust and water resistance, and a fixed type pivoting shoe plate.
